RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be willing to cross-train to cover other departments.
- Must be a self-starter and be willing to take the initiative to make things better.
- Pack foam trays at a rate that will allow continual operation of the machines.
- Seal foam trays and palletize properly to insure stability of the pallet.
- Keep adequate amounts of balers on baler racks to insure continual operation of the machines.
- Ensure quality of trays conform to current quality standards.
- Weigh scrap and document poundage.
- Transport scrap to grinder house.
- Grind scrap.
- Obey all table rotation rules.
- Communicate pertinent information to relief personnel at shift change.
- Comply with all departmental safety rules.
- Keep work area clean of debris.
- Know location of fire extinguishers and emergency stop buttons in your assigned work area.
- Maintain attendance record to adhere to company attendance goals.
- Maintain safety record to adhere to plant goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess Leadership Skills
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Good performance, safety and attendance records.
- Willingness to work overtime and holidays as required.
- Frequently lift up to 30 lbs.
- Prefer some manufacturing experience.
