Sanitation Worker 1st Shift
Seeking general workers located in Pleasant Hills, PA. Experience with Sanitation in a food manufacturing a plus.
REQUIREMENTS OF SANITATION WORKER:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a food manufacturing plant or in food service is preferred - Proven ability to work independently while performing a variety of sanitation duties
- Must be able to understand and demonstrate all Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
- Must be able to safely use industrial strength chemicals
- Must be able to push or pull heavy equipment
- Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently
- Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Must demonstrate safe working habits
- Will be working in a facility that uses the following allergens on a daily basis: Peanuts, Tree nuts, Milk, Eggs, Soy, Wheat
- Must be at least 18 years old
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SANITATION WORKER:
- Cleaning all production equipment
- Dispensing and using chemicals safely
- Maintaining the chemical storage area
- Applying various chemicals on different equipment as well as in environmental locations
- Ensuring the prevention of damage when cleaning equipment, including electrical wiring & control panels
- Operating and maintaining floor scrubbers
- Working closely with Maintenance and Quality Assurance associates to successfully complete all tasks
- Following standard operating procedures at an exceptional level
- Other duties as assigned, including working on the production line when needed
SCHEDULE & PAY RATE FOR SANITATION WORKER:
- Monday To Friday 5 am to 2 pm
-$15.00 per hour.
